PSM Nada, that’s the name of choir group of UTY which was born on Febuary 1990 in STIE (now as Bussines and Economic Faculty of UTY). The members of group are the students of UTY. As the good choir group, PSM Nada has got thrid rank of International Choir Competition which hold in Pataya, Thailand on July 20 – 24th and got “Bronze Medal”. On that event, PSM Nada was the one of International Choir Competition which came from Indonesia. Ms. Istri Agung, as the leader of the choir claims that she proud about what PSM Nada has got.
INTERVIEW with Ms. Istri as the leader of PSM are :
Juornalist : what do you feel about PSM Nada in getting third rank in International Competition 2011?
Ms. Istri : proud, happy and flattered because although we got the bronze medal, we were the only Indoneian Choir which was fallowing that competition.
Journalist : did the University support PSM in the fund when PSM went to Pataya?
Ms. Istri : yes, but it was noth enough for us to go to pataya.
Journalist : so, what did PSM do to get all the fund for going to Pataya?
Ms. Istri : to got the fund by joined to Tribun Jogja Newspaper . Before we went to Pataya, we had routinity to sell the newspaper. Not only that we also made catering service.
Journalist : what does the PSM hope from the University?
Ms. Istri : we need the suport, from the spirit, fund and something good.
Journalist : what does the PSM plans to the next event?
Ms. Istri : we have plans to attend in next International Competition in Bandung and Bali.
Journalist : what do you do as the leader to make the members got more disciplines?
Ms. Istri : PSM has a role, that every members do come late or not attending, she or he shold pay a fine where the fine as the punishment for them.
